I know there are a lot of people that are completely against stem cell research. To be honest with you, I really don't know why. God gave us talents, talents we use everyday to advance our own science and medicine for making people healthy. Stem Cell research brings about new practices that can heal disease and illness that are otherwise only manageable but not preventable. Companies like On Stemcells are helping people find resources and information for hospitals that take part in research and stem cell technology.
I would think that if anyone were to have a child suffering some terrible affliction, repairable through the use of stem-cells, that they would take the opportunity to do so. Or at least consider it. It's easy to pump your first in opposition when it doesn't directly affect you or someone you love.
In too many cases the needy people are the ones supporting research like this, and the deep-pocketed lobbyists are the ones typically opposing it. Unfortunately, in our nation, it's less about the loudest voice or greatest need and more about the dollar. If these people took the time to educate themselves more on stem cell research, even using info online like Wiki or through sites such as On Stemcell, then there would likely be less issue with the whole concept, and far less controversy.
There's not much money in stemcell research, just hope. But government doesn't run on hope.

I agree with you. Stem cell therapy has revolutionized the ways treatments are done. Though there is a lot still left to be invented, I hope scientists find out the correct methods to cure diseases like cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and ATS etc.
I couldn't agree with you more. I think if those take the time to read more on it and be open minded on how it can be treated, they could see how effective it would be. Money should be the decision all the time of what is best, especially for health, but unfortunately when you have people in high positions that think that way, things don't get any further off the table.
